Both the gel based and acrylic nails are equally durable and can cope with the daily challenges. The difference between the two materials is merely the way of construction. We just rarely meet guests whose nails are preferring one material over the other.
However, this is a choice varied by individuals. It happens often that someone feels the acrylic nails are a bit harder or heavier than gel based ones, and they feel the gel nails are less rigid, therefore they choose those. There are others though, who prefer acrylic nails, because they feel those are stronger, with more durability than gel based ones.
