Mostly doing the washing-up is the activity they say –falsely- that is not allowed while wearing artificial nail. This is incorrect, because the artificial nail is covered with an insoluble light-gel, therefore no household chemical can damage it.
Even degreasing agents can only damage the artificial nail that much they can damage the natural nails, or even less. It is advised – with artificial nail or without – to wear rubber gloves while using such chemicals. Artificial nail can generally tolerate well the watery environment, but it is advised to be careful within 24 hours after construction. After that time period, everything is allowed.
